Tweet of the Day: Some People Never Learn – Part Three
——-
Ye Gods are craaazy!
Yes, I’m doing it again.
NaNoWriMo that is.
So what is NaNoWriMo?
Simple, sign up to the website, and starting at Midnight November 1st, 2011 you start writing.
Non-stop.
Until the last day of the month. If you accumulated at least 50,000 words, you win. If not, you get to try and do it all over again the next year. The real goal is to get you to write that novel that is festering in the back of your head, you know the one. Guess what it will stay there unless you commit pen to paper or finger to key. Might as well do it all in one go. And with thousands sharing the same Overworld of writing frustrations, broken similes and computer crashes, you can’t miss.
So what am I doing for NaNo?
Cheating, of course. It’s tradition, just like in the Triwizard Tournament. Instead of starting fresh I’ll put my third book, Ruins of Empire (preview of the MC here), through the cruicible. Hopefully a full month of re-writes, editing, and word mongering will unleash the Fires of Creation ™ and I will have a decent product at the end.
So, are you taking on the challenge?

OOOh good luck on that novel– I am not doing it (the wrong kind of month for me)!!

Good luck. Not doing it myself this year, still in the middle of doing up the house. Meh.

Good luck! I’m not participating this year–got a slew of major projects due during November. Degree > NaNo. But I’ll be cheering along at the sidelines. 🙂

Thank you all for your support. I just wish I actually come up for air at the end of it. 🙂
