Today I planed to post a flash fiction piece based on this challenge:

Songwriter’s Story Challenge:

• Pick a song you like.
• Write a story based on, about or inspired by the song/lyrics. A link to the song itself (lyrics or youtube video) would help.

• Limit: 1,000 words or less.
• Include a link back to this post.
• And leave your blog/post link on the comments so that I may add it to the list.

The Challenge starts right now and will run through  July. Ends on July 31st.

I suppose that I still have time, since my self-impose dateline is at the end of this month.

I even picked a song:

And I am a big believer in “Just Write!” and let inspiration, whatever that is, take care of itself. But on this muggy July day I really don’t feel like putting a half-assed effort just to fill a daily slot on the blog. Now that I think about it, I may just do another fanfic story (ME2 based, like the last one) around this video. Non-players may not get the joke, but sometimes you need to write for yourself first.

Selfish, I know.
