I’m on Tweeter, under RafaWriter.
And yes, it is as addictive as they all say it is.
One of the great things about Tweeter is that I get all kinds of links to writer’s blogs shock full of shorts, articles and other goodies.
So I decided to contribute to the flow with Sunday Tweets.
It goes something like this:
- Tweet a article or post related to writing and writers. Preferably one done by a fellow writer. If the writer doesn’t have tweeter button on their blog (which automatically tweets the given blog and/or post) then I’ll cut and paste or use tinyURL to tweet the post.
- Blog about why I tweeted said post.
- Include the link on my post as well, just for extra coverage.
I encourage all writers to do the same.
One tweet a week.
Promote what you like and get others to join in.
If you don’t want to spent a whole post on just a tweet, or simply want to call attention to more tweets during the week, just tweet and add a sentence with link about the post in question at the top/bottom of post and call it the Daily Tweet.
How about it?
So, the Tweet of the Week is 500 Club-Silence. A short about a survivor of a nuclear apocalypse. Whether it is madness or obsession, the narrator seems very happy about being alone in a world without people, until it downs on him/her that without people there is no shelter or food or any kind and as an suburbanite the narrator doesn’t know how to fend for itself in the sudden wilderness.
Reminds me of Twilight Zone ep were a man survives the End of the World and its happy because he has all the time in the world to read his beloved books, until his thick glasses fall of his nose and break on the rubble at his feet.
What are you waiting for, go check it out, now!
For some reason You Tube yanks the video links after awhile. You can still click on the window to get to the original content (most of the time), which doesn’t make much sense to me, but…. I’ll keep posting them, of course, until such time as I find a way to work around the problem.
For the time being, enjoy these chill out Sunday tunes.
