Two for the Price of One

Another month, another BlogFest…

Wait, I wrote that before, more than twice in fact. So this month I’m participating in two, yes two Absolute Write Water Cooler Forums sponsored BlogFests.

BlogFest #1:

A return to the Musical Chairs Concept, but this time the switch is not about genre but Point of View, thus:

If you’d like to join the February challenge Say Something New, then list your name, website and the preferred point of view that you normally write in. (Here is the first post that may explain a little more.)

Then through a fair and scientific method *cough* drawing names from a cup *cough* you’ll be assigned to a point of view different than your usual. You will be responsible for writing a flash piece (max 1000 words, no minimum) in your assigned point of view during the month of February. (BigWords is taking charge of this month, so be sure to message him if there is a date you’d like to be assigned for posting. The dates will be spread out to the 12th, 19th and 26th. Here is an example of what January looked like…)

Pretty straight forward.

Numero Deuce is a bit more challenging:

This month’s theme is Antagonists. There is going to be two parts, so please read carefully.

Part one: Describe the antagonist in your novel in 50 words or less.

Part two: What would you say to your antagonist if you met him or her in real life? Post a scene in response to this question in 100 words or less.

You have two days to complete your post. When you are complete, please post a link to your post on the thread so I can let the next person in line know that their turn is up. If you are unable to participate, please PM me. If you fail to post on your blog and on the thread within two days, I will bump you down to the end of the line on the third day.

One additional note: Please include a list of all participants’ blogs on your blog.

The goal is to be creative, have fun and discover new blogs. So, step on up and join in the February’s blog chain. Don’t forget to include a link to your blog on the thread.

More instructions but less writing.

Go figure.

Why don’t you join in? 😉

This song is stuck in my head on an endless happy loop. Enjoy!
