17. Favorite protagonist and why?

Who indeed….

If I had to be honest (and I don’t have to but), I’ll say it was Anthony Mendoza.

He does come close to being a Marty Stu, except that my first book is not fan fiction. I injected enough of me in him, that he has become a “fictional” self.  That and what I was going through at the time I wrote the story (severe bout of depression) plus it was the first time I had written anything since my halcyon school days and that makes everything about the story special to me.

No surprise then that among my protagonist, Anthony is closest to me and therefore my favorite.
