Tweet of the Day: Character Trait: Glamorous
——-
I talked about this before, that feeling after you write a great scene or finish a book. You’re exhilarated and exhausted at the same time. Happened again this week, with the second to last dispatch (yes there is at one more on the way). And like I said before, I had a blast writing Season 2. It had great action sequences (the burning of London is downright brutal) , good characters and character relationships. For awhile I didn’t know where the whole Gwen Owen thing was going, still a bit up in the air. I mean he messed up royally in the Uni days and it took time for Gwen to see through that. Hell, it took time for him to forgive himself. That scene in the bathroom was wrought with emotions.
That’s the thing about being a writer, you can really get into the writing. I fell and felt for the characters like never before.
I call that a win.
And now for the week in blog post:
- Sun: Without Comment
- Mon: TV Tropes- Used Future
- Tue: WWW- …or BustĀ
- Wed: Word Building- The ChecklistĀ
- Thu: WWW- Cold VengeanceĀ
That’s it for this week. I leave you with a question: how emotionally invested are you in your story and characters?

I’ve had that feeling post-novel. More exhausted than anything else. I love that meme at the top. Lol’d.
It is still a satisfying feeling, is it not?
