My 30 Days of Writing-Days 29/30:End of the Line

Sorry for missing yesterday’s deadline. But in a strange way, answering these two questions in the same post brings a bit of symmetry to the end of this meme.

So lets get to it, shall we?

29. How often do you think about writing? Ever come across something IRL that reminds you of your story/characters?

All the time. It’s the reason I write. Vivid images flood my mind, wonderful scenes come unbidden to the forefront.

Just one problem.

They don’t come up in a nice, orderly way.

;)

Which can make writing a bit frustrating at times. I’m think of a glorious space battle, but I’m stuck because I can’t visualize the next scene between two characters who need to have a heart felt chat about their feelings.

As for coming across things in Real Life that remind me of my writing, well it really the other way around. I mine the world around me for ideas, concepts and the like. History is always a good source, as is politics, news, and just about everything I come across.  So if things in Real Life resemble my writing, more likely than not, it is intentional.

And now for the final act:

30. Final question! Tag someone! And tell us what you like about that person as a writer and/or about one of his/her characters!

Oh, the evil act of tagging a fellow blogger. But I shall not breathe a word about her, oh noes! If she takes up the challenge, then she will tell you all about it herself.

How about it Tasha?

;)

And for those hiding under a rock for the last decade or so, here is the trailer of the last two movies in the Harry Potter series:
