25. Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.
Yes.
Oh yes.
I like pets. Thus my characters have them. I like to give them a pet, something other than a human being to relate to. I think the most important of them is Shadow, who appeared in my first novel. He is a German Shepperd, mostly black, with tan paws, ears and tail (hence the name). As per the breed, he is a clever, friendly dog, totally devoted to his master, and very aware when his human makes a mistake. He is also a shelter dog. It’s amazing the breeds you can find at your local shelter, and even if it’s a mutt, it still cane be a great pet.
Also cats are popular in my writing, bonded to female characters for some reason, although I had guys with cats as well.
It depends what strikes my fancy and fits the character.
